Getting There

Rosehill Gardens is well-connected by light rail, train, bus, ferry, and car, making it easy for everyone to attend. Whether you’re arriving from Western Sydney, the North-West, or the South-West, there are multiple transport options to suit your needs.

For those driving, free parking is available on-site with designated VIP and disability spaces. Golf buggies will also be available to assist those needing help from parking areas to the Exhibition Hall.

Parking

General Parking
P1, P3, P4 (Accessible via Gate 1 Grand Ave & James Ruse Drive).

VIP & Disability Parking

  • Located in the Members’ Reserved Areas (Gate 1 Grand Ave).
  • Golf buggies available to assist those with mobility challenges.

Elderly Drop-Off & Assistance:

  • Drop-off zones near Might & Power Entrance for those who need closer access.
  • Assistance is available for those requiring help getting to the Exhibition Hall.
Train

The closest station is Parramatta Station accessible via the T1 Western Line, T2 Inner West & Leppington Line and the T5 Cumberland Line.

Take the Parramatta Square station exit to connect with L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services to Rosehill Gardens to get within close walking distance of the racecourse. 

Alternatively, you can also connect with route 920 bus services that travel towards Rosehill and make stops near the racecourse.

Light Rail

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services provide a direct connection to Rosehill Gardens with a stop right outside the venue. You can connect to light rail services from Carlingford, Westmead and the Parramatta CBD. These services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. 

Alight at Rosehill Gardens and continue on foot via Grand Ave and the underpass to the racecourse. 

Bus

From Parramatta Interchange, route 920 services run towards Rosehill, making stops near the racecourse.

Services run every 20 minutes on weekends. 

Route 920:

  • Services to Rosehill from Parramatta Station Interchange, Stand A2, and drop off on James Ruse Drive opposite Prospect Street. 
  • Services from Rosehill leave from James Ruse Drive at Prospect Street and drop off at Parramatta Interchange. 
Ferry

The closest wharf to Rosehill Gardens is Parramatta Wharf.
Services run every 20 minutes on weekends. 

From the wharf, walk to Robin Thomas light rail stop via the riverside, Argus Lane and Macquarie St to connect with L4 light rail services to Rosehill Gardens. 

F3 Parramatta River services run regularly to Parramatta but services are popular and may reach capacity. Plan your trip and allow plenty of extra travel time or consider the alternative public transport options available. 

Please note, F3 Parramatta River ferries between Parramatta and Rydalmere may be affected by low tide and replaced by buses, check for updates here:

Only trip plans with accessible train platforms, ferry wharves and buses will be presented.There are a range of tools and resources for planning an accessible trip or download a transport accessibility app that best suits your needs. 

The Exhibition Hall is also accessible via ramps and there is an area outdoors reserved for those who require chairs or wheelchair space.
